They all go in light air, 12kts. I’ve ridden all of them recently with a 9m Gk trix.
The 9 footer is fun. It needs a 12 m for powered turns in light air though but its
super easy to gibe. I’ve used it when guys are on 12 bows to 15c.
The 7-6 fun shape is great for cruising and trying stuff like tacks,
And switching your feet before or after your turn is easy with lots of room to screw up!
It’s a better board for a big guys first surf board.
The 6 footer is the best over all. It’s just harder to switch your feet before or after your turn.
In 12-15 kts it’s a blast, down loop turns remind me of windsurfing gibes, fast and smooth through the water, and the extra float is key for the lulls!
It turns a light air, onshore slop day into fun!
A 6ft surfboard is a cheap alternative to having fun without getting a bigger kite!
And it’s more fun then b&fing on a large twin unless you have a 14M Sonic!
