Brandine: Now Cletus, if I catch you with pig lipstick on your collar one more time you ain't gonna be allowed to sleep in the barn no more!
Cletus: Duly noted.

Hopefully my new porter will be up and flowing soon.
In the meantime, I've been super tempted to get the ol'homebrew keg filled at the brewhouse with IPA. Damn that stuff is tasty, hoppy, and strong.

IPA is no good! Go get yrself a porter.
Porter.... meh. Might as well go and lick asphalt.
Heh!
Before I posted I had been checking out the Pope's "Friday at the Beach" thread and my brain saw something else when I looked at this title![]()

We've got a devoted beer fridge and a separate wine fridge - but no kegerator.
People shooting ski areas should be sued.
Making one this summer for the new house.
is it easy to make a kegerator? I currently have a minifridge that is absolutely pointless for storing things like vegetables, because they inevitably freeze, even at the lowest setting, if they are towards the back of the fridge. I also brew in 5 gallon batches at a time. I'd have to measure, but it looks as though my fridge could easily hold a 5 gallon keg. So rather than a fridge of frozen vegetables, I could have my Cascade IPA cold and on tap... that would be pretty badass.
Picked up a really nice looking one at Menards for $400. Takes a smaller keg, but it matches the rest of the kitchen, has a counter top, and doesn't take up very much space. I donno...the ratty old one I had when I lived on campus just had some charm to it.
