You saw the pit stop in yesterdays race (Go Lewis!!)
Did you see why?:
BEAVER RUINS DAVIDSON'S DAY
Briton Anthony Davidson was left cursing his luck after hitting a beaver on lap
37 of Sunday's Canadian Grand Prix which forced the Super Aguri driver to pit
while in third place following a flurry of pit stops.
The incident caught Davidson's pit crew completely unawares and spectators were treated to the comical scenes of the Super Aguri driver parked outside his garage before the mechanics scrambled into the pit lane. Davidson managed to equal his highest finish in a Grand Prix with his 11th place as team-mate Takuma Sato grabbed three points with sixth place to crown a successful day for the team.
``It is such a shame about the beaver. It had it in for me I'm sure,'' said
Davidson ``I was on a clear one-stop strategy and it damaged the front wing.
``I couldn't even see it at high speed and I could not understand why I
suddenly locked up the front tyres and so I had to come into the pit lane.
``The guys were taken by surprise in the garage when I came in. But they were really on it with the race strategy after that and it was really enjoyable in the end.''
