Ended up on the south last night, not much action since flows are high.
Tonight the henrys was great. Drakes where poping off.

Should stay good if the clouds stay around.

    Thanks for the update!

The Snake is still a bit funky. Jellystone = on fire.

    Anywhere...

Keep in mind the Yellowstone in the park is closed as wellas the tribs to it.
The Firehole is a good option if you do some walking to get away from the crowds.
HIT the Gibbon. It's not fished as much.
NE streams are still running a little muddy.
Bechler, Fall, Maddy, all in good condition. The Lewis is close---Lewis Lake +++.

It's also the open of "the Ranch" this weekend. Why aren't you hitting that?

    Sorry.
I was referring to the Hariman State Park on the Henry's Fork. More specifically, the Railroad Ranch section. It opens tomorrow----lots of people, lots of picky, large Bows.

I've heard from an old crusty fisherguy [bud from bud's eastside liquors for you jax mags]
that the people that can be successful fishing the H.F. are as skilled as skiers that can rip Jackson...

    hat's off to you guys...[i'm a hack......at both]
Something about the wrinkle in your forehead tells me there's a fit about to get thrown
And I never hear a single word you say when you tell me not to have my fun
It's the same old shit that I ain't gonna take off anyone.
and I never had a shortage of people tryin' to warn me about the dangers I pose to myself.

That holds true for some sections of the Henry's Fork...not all though. Opening weekend is similar to Flat Creek here in Jax. Big fish, eager to eat your bugs if they are presented OK. The next next weekend, the trout have their Masters in fake bugs. 3rd weekend, they have a phD.
