Buster I told you that I'm not going to turn this into a flame war. Just look up Frances population demographic heritage, in conjunction with Frances rule of Arabic/Muslim states as colonies, and the immigration rates of said peoples of Muslim faith into France in the last 50 years. You also need to remember that half of France was once controlled by Arabs of Islamic faith before the during the middle ages. Sure many have changed religions since that time, but it is still considered when it comes to voting patterns. Family's remember their families ethnic history especially when voting. We even do this here.

Again, give us a real reference rather than making unsupported claims. People here are not stoopid and you have a very long history of making unsupported, inexact and incorrect claims.

Maybe you're right. But having spent a little time there and looking up every reference I can, the maximal Muslim population I can find is 10%. Not 35%. Not more than 1 in 3.

I don't think the French hate us because we support Israel or have engaged in manipulating governments, natural resources and supported fascists since the '50s. The French hate everybody, we're not special. Moreover, they're reluctant to get involved in middle east disputes since their Algerian debacles, where the first modern terrorist activities started. Maybe they have learned something.

The last official census was done in 1996. And in France it is forbidden by law to ask a person's race or religion by law on a census. Estimated data puts the numbers of practicing muslims closer to 17% without taking into account those that are there illegally. Different population models done incorporating the illegal numbers range from 23-33%. Now you will notice before that I was stating 35% of ethnic origin. I didn't say practicing in Islam at the time. Just of ethnic ancestry. I got to admit I got a kick out of you guys throwing out figures from study's done in 1996 (8 years ago) that were proven flawed because of the process that they were done by.

Nice to see the liberal thugs coming out of the closet on this one. It has made for interesting reading. It's like people stopping on a highway to look at the injured bodies from a car wreck. Rather pathetic.

OK, now which one of these links actually specifies that the percentage of Arabic (not necessarily Algerian, mind you, for, as you ethnically aware types should know, they are different) is 35%?

As I've said, I may be wrong, but just please show me.

I would still claim, independent of whatever "facts" you dredge up that your arguments are inherently jingoist, nationalist, racist and reactionary.
