    Leaky Drain Plug Area

    Well little problemo, the drain plug, not the screw in part itsself is leaking and whatnot. I can get a replacement but its going to take a while, what are some ideas while its getting ordered?

    If I am reading you right... have you considered a strategically placed glob of silicone or even Aquaseal? Especially if you can remove the entire plug setup & get the goop well distributed where you want it & then reseat the entire plug.

    Aquaseal or silicone if the base of the plug is leaking. Wine bottle cork if the plug is screwed up.

    On a sidenote, I always keep some duct tape on the shaft of my paddle because I will sometimes be with people that take their plug out to drain and drop it. You can wrap a stick in duct tape and use that as a plug to get you home.
