Is it time for me to post in this thread?

I stand side by side with Rush Baby. Obvously there is an international commie conspericy being propagated threw the liberal media and education system. I refuzed a long time ago to subjact to the poisining of our minds - I dropped out of school in 6th grade and instead did home schoolin with my pa. There i learned unfettered capitalizm is the way to go. If only the degenerates and liberals wouldn't want to take a cut we'd be all right with God and richer in our pockets.

Look out for the leders of the liberel parties cause they have millions of little imps infiltrating our neighborhoods, ready to take over as soon as we let down our guard.

    I'm bored so...
An assignment for Rush Baby, Crass3000 and all other conservatives (you liberals can play along also):
Forget for a moment all of these specific little issues liberals and conservatives fight over. Forget what all of your favorite talking heads are talking about whether Limbaugh or Franken. Take a while to think about what you believe to be the basic purpose of government. Not what you believe the founders thought or what the constitution says, but what you believe is the fundamental purpose of any government anywhere. Try to get it down to a one sentance statement. Then take some time to relate that statement back to all those little issues I just told you to forget about. Write it down. I will create a thread later today in the Padded Room (the correct place for this stuff, btw) where we all can post our assignments and compare notes. Should be interesting.

Despite what most of you may think. My name is not an alias. I can't remember where/when I found this forum, but I just started posting a few days ago. I will find the padded room and wait, I guess.

I can only dream of that problem now. Sadly, last year I exchanged the problem of Lear Jets flying low over my pine trees in Truckee with drunks fighting over my stinky alley in Sacramento. Just haven't updated the profile in a while.

If by "liberal education", you mean a traditional liberal arts cirriculum, which would include philosophy, logic, rhetoric, history...all of these would serve to teach one to sharpen his or her arguments as opposed to spewing generalities or making grandiose conclusions without adequate support...like a certain fat assed, drug addled deejay who never graduated from college or held a successful job until he started his right wing rantings that some of the weakminded take for insightful analysis as opposed to entertainment...
then yes, I took a lot of "liberal education".

Ok, here's the thing. I know a lot of well educated dummies, and a lot of intelligent, uneducated people. I am sure you can deceifer the difference, (being well educated and all). I have lived life on both ends of the spectrum and have more life experience than MOST people on this forum, (not making it a contest). I have combined that life experience with some college education, military background, and a natural level of common sense. My observation skills have led me in the direction of conservatism. I was not led there by Rush. Can you honestly say that you have extensively listened to both sides of the political spectrum. I can. With a grain of salt, I read the paper, watch the news, listen to talk radio, watch Bill Maher, Jon Stewart, Colbert Report, and enjoy a good stand-up special by George Carlin. YOU are the ones who are not seeing the reality of what is happening in this country. YOU are the ones who do not understand the nature of you own liberal flaws. It is the conservatives in this country that understand liberals better than liberals themselves. That's why you are so predictable.

Dog has to take a shit. Bye.

For the record, how well a person can argue is not a measure of ones intelligence and understanding of life. If I could express my thoughts as organized and well thought out as you, that would be one less crutch for you to use against me woudn't it?

I was at Brian DeVoe's place a while ago. It's a miracle they make it over the trees. They seem to aim between the trees and houses. Pilot's solution to the problem ? Move. The airport was there first

And also, the fact that Rush did not complete college probably helped him keep an open, clear head. If he would've complete college, (a breeding ground for leftists), would have fallen victim to the brainwashing from all of the proffessors who have led their sheltered lives living in priviliged academia.

Rush, I will wager that you would be amazed at the collective life experience of the folks on this board.

A lack of formal education is not really something to crow about. It is just a card draw for many people anyway, economically. I certainly can say I know more ignorant, arrogant, self-righteous, xenophobic, republican (or worse, unengaged) dumb-fucks in the Good ol' USA than anywhere else that I have lived...and that is all over the planet.

And I am not a Democrat. I am a skeptic.Once anyone parrot's the views of some (IE, Any) mainstream schmuck, in general, their opinion is downgraded to unusable. Your handle speaks volumes as to your ability to remove yourself from the myopia of rhetoric, and maintain an honestly earned opinion.

And besides, you haven't provided ANY stoke...why should this board care to debate a non-giver to the community?

    Do you even ski?

Right...he would have been turned to the darkside, like, say, Bill Buckley?

So, by this measure, wouldn't Bush (and most likely every politician that you may admire) qualify as a limp-wristed libbie?

You DO know he (faked) his way through some very prestigious, 'priviledged' institutions...

Your 'argument' is a shambles, you don't even know what you think you despise!

BTW, I have had dinner a few times with William F. Buckley, he is a very funny guy. Kind of terrifying, but funny.
    Man likes his Martini's.

Hmmmm...... All I'm hearing are attacks on Bush, Rush, Ann, and other conservatives, (in typical liberal fashion). Attacks on my education level, Grammar skills, Rhetoric, arguing skills, and how I "parrot" certain media personalities seems to be the common thread. NOT ONCE! has anyone offer a response to the issues of wealth redistribution, unfair taxes, and illegal immigration. I'm starting to feel as though no one has an educated opinion on the complexities of these issues and why they are wrong.

Ah, but the whole point of his existence is to be an ass. You can't just up and take that away from him.

    REDISTRIBUTION OF WEALTH

OK...I am irratated by the fact vast sums are taken by the government and given to contractors who vastly overcharge for work being done. For example, Halliburton.

    UNFAIR TAXES

I agree that it is unfair to tax the nation for an ill conceived war that was entered into based on false information

    ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION

As soon as WalMart and other companies and/or their executives start doing jail time for knowingly hiring "illegals", I'll be up for putting a 50 ft. wall around the border. For once, I'd like to hear the xenopphobes acknowledge that significant sectors of the economy are dependant on immigrant labor...legal and otherwise.
