didn't mean to sound quite so negative tiger, sorry. but honestly what is awesome about the collective is the crazy amount of knowledge that maggots have and are happy to share. charging them to do so on a post-by-post basis would severely reduce the volume of useful posts in addition to the worthless ones. whereas with a yearly fee to post here, i could decide to tour on one day instead of riding lifts and save enough money to fund my board usage for 10 years, and provide some BC stoke while i'm at it.

but as cj001f says, it would be mostly irrelevant if TGR weren't burning to the ground right now
