    Still not stickied?

    Marker Duke/Baron/Jester/etc.

put brake arm in vice grips.
put vice grips in bench vice.
    slip tubing over brake.
    bend.

this worked perfectly for Hellbents. (just need a slight "tweak" outwards)

Note: do not use cheap vice grips, you'll break them.

Before you spend $40 at Al's try Look/Rossi direct. They were mid $20s last spring.

Excellent point -- thanks, Steve. Adding that thought to the main post.

? is the brake on the 09 FF17 removable (like the peak18), and are the brakes interchangeable? I have some peak wide brakes (and a jig), and now see some rockin prices on the ff17pros.... the fore/aft adj. sounds like something cool to play with, but don't want to get into tyrolia bending hell (solly is tough enough).

    Yes, they're definitely removable.

Tyrolia's Technical Data book says that the 08-09 FF17 and 09-10 Peak 18 both use the PB Race Pro brake.

    Bringing back an old thread.....

So I was wondering if it is possible to bend a 130mm brake to a 105 waisted ski. I know it can sometimes create drag when carving. I don't have much experience bending brakes so I was just wondering if it's even worth trying. I also heard that I can replace my fritschi brake arms with saloman arms to save money ($70 for fritschi brake system)
