Can anyone guess where this is?

    Here's some hints:

The skier is from Switzerland. I took the picture. This was his last day (last hour I might add) of a long, long ski trip.

That little area sitting in the shadow of Alta?
Something about the wrinkle in your forehead tells me there's a fit about to get thrown
And I never hear a single word you say when you tell me not to have my fun
It's the same old shit that I ain't gonna take off anyone.
and I never had a shortage of people tryin' to warn me about the dangers I pose to myself.

I'm having a hard time placing the spot in LCC. I'd guess Snowbasin.

Sorry. Been gone 'aworking all day. It never ends.

To answer some of your guesses:
It's not "that little area sitting in the shadow of Alta." If it's at Alta, where would you say it is?
    It's not Pig Sty.
    If it's Basin, where exactly?
If it's the Bird, where is it?
Could it be some other resort?

Here's another hint or two: The chute and run are completely visible from a major chair. The chute in the background is more than 300 vertical feet, and from Paedde's location there's still more than a thousand vertical feet of skiing to the bottom of the chair.

Ok, I see Limestone. And the skier is Swiss.
Thus I am led to believe the Swiss Alpes, not too deep into Valais.

I will go with Porte de Soleil.
    Or maybe Gstaad.

    Those are my best guesses.

If it's North America, I'd never guess it correctly.

Nope. You'll be shocked to find out where it is. Especially since you had something like 160 days there this year.

The reason I made this thread is because after I took these photos and looked at them I couldn't believe how much they didn't look like the bird. Now that it's narrowed down to the resort, does anyone know the name of this area?

I'll em Paedde and see if he wants to post the info if no one figures it out.

Well then baldy eye of the Needle chute is on the left. The weird peraspective is brought on by the relative flatness of fields of glory above.
