    verdict for me? advice requested.

    Dear allknowing maggots,

i apologize in advance for another „i am stupid and can’t make decisions on my own so please tell me what skis to get“ thread. search function does not seem to be helping much.

I have been skiing some 188 k2 anti pistes this season and have been quite happy with their performance. Recently i have been having some problems with the shitfuck inserts and screws repeatedly breaking off in said shitfuck inserts. Also, the skis are heavy and while i have been trying a „heavy skis make you strong“ approach while skinning, this is kind of annoying.

Now I could get a good deal on some very lightly used 190 bd verdicts. The dimensions are similar, they are lighter, all sounds good. I have searched but not really found what i want to know, so: how stiff are they compared to the (rather floppy) aps, would i be able to handle them in variable conditions and make them turn where i want?

i am by far no rockstar but would say that i am a decent, somewhat aggressive (female) skier. 70something kilo and about 6ft tall. Would be mounting with o1.

What i really want to hear is that i should buy these skis, i posted on ttips without much success in this regard, so now i am trying here. however, if the consensus is that this is a bad idea, i will listen.

    Thank you.

dont remember if i told you this already but..
buy the verdicts, from what i've heard its a solid ski and not really that stiff. warranty the anti pistes (they have to take them in..) and get them give you some pontoons or katanas or something without the shitty tele inserts. buy some alpine bindings while you're at it. after that get rid of the madens, you never use them anyways. voila, two pairs of (nearly) new skis and only a few euros lost.

Verdict is a solid ski. I believe that they are being redesigned for 07/08 season if that affects your decision. Hell you cant go wrong if you are getting a deal on them. Worst case you hate them and resell them for minimal loss. How many times have they been drilled?

280.- for a used pair isnt a blast...
sport-conrad sells them for 350.- new and they were at ebay.de for 299.- new some time ago...
but if cj001f gets for 280.- all new, that would be a nice deal

unless you can get a corporate shipping rate then this might prove to be hard.. shipping alone runs about 150USD i think :f
klar you could always wait and see what comes out of the anti pistes.. and i'd say someone should be able to pull out the broken screws in case k2 wont award with you new skis.., or thats what i've been told.. if the skishops wont do anything about it try a machinery shop thingy, maybe car mechanic or something..?
