making the move to summit co. looking for roommates or place

Sometime between july and september i'll be moving out to summit county. Preferably breck, but i'll go wherever is cheap. I'm posting to find either an available room or to gather some other people that would interested in putting together a house/apt. My biggest priority is CHEAP - no cable, no internet, and most likely sharing rooms.

I'm 22 and have a 4 year old dog. And no, I won't be having a bunch of CU students crashing on the couch every weekend.

i'm moving out there in two weeks. i have a lead on some places and will be checking them out while i stay at my gf's place in boulder.

i also have my dog (so i'm pretty much only looking at houses) and will not be wanting cable, however internet is a must. let me know what "cheap" means to you, cause i lived in enough shitholes through college and i'm looking for a place that i won't mind calling home for possibly a few years. as such, i'm mainly looking at silverthorne/dillon.

    hit me up.

I have my Mobil home in Breck for sale very cheap ($1000)
It is 10 X 50, right in town, perfect for a bachelor, all new carpet, plumbing and brand new appliances...
Lot rent is cheap and it is the bestest and cheapest way to live in Breck without being someone's roommate.
    PM me if interested!!

This is one hell of a deal!

I stayed at his place for a week back in Feb. and it's absolutely perfect for someone looking for a place on their own. No need for a car since it's literally across the street from the bus stop. Walk to a gondola within 5-10 minutes. Hell, I may jump on this deal if you don't.
I think that the human mind is unique among all other forms of life in that it can spontaneously create unique thoughts and provide unique behaviors. Instead of rewarding that uniqueness we, for some reason probably because of cultural and social necessity, we chastise unique behavior and reward conformity.

Is that a typo? $1000? Did you mean $10000?
I would think new carpet, new plumbing and new appliances would have cost you over $1000.
If it's not a typo and you really are selling it for $1000, whats the catch? I just gotta ask because when something sounds to good to be true, it usually is.

You read it right...no typo $1000.

everything was pretty much free that I put in it, and I am trying to get out from under it as I am living with the GF these days. (I work at a hotel for the 2nd job so I get a ton of free appliances, carpet, cabinets etc...

that is the maggot deal too. I only paid $500 fot the place and spent a lot of time fixing it up for myself...but now I don't need it. appliances alone are easily worth that...

    Pics coming soon...really.

That is a ridiculous deal. Unless the lot rent is $2,000 a month, that sounds like a no-brainer.

Those pictures bring back some good memories.

I can't believe nobody has jumped on this deal yet. If I were in a position to make the move I'd be all over it!

I have an RV lot at www.tigerrunresort.com Great views of Ten Mile Range on 2 trout rivers, on the free shuttle line to 4 resorts. FREE WIFI, FREE CABLE. I just need to find someone to put travel trailer or motorhome on it for us to use through the winter. I'd just want to be there a few nights a month on the couch or something. You can pick one up on craigslist for a couple grand.

Hey, you would be my neighbor too! I have a trailer in that park as well.

Oh yeah, true about living IN town. You WILL drink and if you drive after you WILL get a DUI.

damn. if i wanted to have a place to crash in suco, that might not be too bad. is splitting it with some other people as a "2nd home" doable (from a landlord approval view)?

Kinda...the guy that owns the place lives in St. Louis and he seems like a DB (never met him though). The manager lives next to us and is pretty cool. They always send around little updates about what is allowed and isn't and it always sounds really anal.

The kind of arrangement you are looking for isn't "technically" allowed. But, I bought one in there with a friend and we stay there every weekend during the winter with our girlfriends and have people up all the time. It really seems like all the rules are for the Mexicans. (not trying to sound racist really! ) You know, a lot of migrant workers and transient folk. They are really concerned about crime and stuff. As long as you don't cause any problems you'll be fine. We have 2 people on our lease and let other people use it when we aren't there. We've never had a problem.

TeleHoar has already sold it though.
