    Henry's Fork opener

Any ID, WY or MT mags heading to the general opener over there this weekend?
Fished Warm river - Ashton last weekend...Salmon Fly hatch was already way up the canyon. We saw plenty of the big bugs but the hogs seemed to be in a food come down there. Deep runs in the middle of the river were the only thing going...and going slow at that. Should be good farther north this weekend though.

Not much with the camera but had to throw in at least 1 half ass shot of a salmon fly from last weekend.

My friends and I also floated the Warm River to Ashton stretch on Saturday. I would agree with your report. A few fish, but not all that much action. Sunday, we floated from the Riverside Campground down to the takeout and had better luck. The fish were on anything big that resembled a Salmon fly. We took drift boats down it, but the water is a little low and I would recommend a raft or pontoon boat.

Were you guys in a red drift boat by chance?

We were actually in a giant orange boat. Probably the biggest thing out there on Saturday. The red boat was about a mile ahead of us for most of the day.
