I looked at that one this morning. Should I go for it? How high?

Well 400 is alot cheaper than IG was selling from what I remember. Personally, I wouldnt go any higher than 400 if I was bidding on them though. Don't bid until the last minute if youwant to get the skis cheaper.

So, is anyone here bidding on that thing?

Cause I sure as shit don't need them, but I might have to snag them on principle if no one else is going to. I'll use em eventually or someone else can buy them from me, but at least the collectif will have gotten a good price...

how much are they worth to you?

I dunno, $400 is still a pretty darn good price for those.
Much over that and I start balking.

On the other hand, it's still a lot less than on sale in retail.

I think it depends - if you're trying to buy that ski specifically, probably higher. If you're looking to fill that general area in a quiver, and could replace with a different version, a B3, a Tanker, or some other similar ski, I'd walk away at $400 or so. Line Motherships (97 underfoot and 182cm with a twin) show up on eBay all the time, and go for under $400. But of course, they're a bit softer and turnier than Explosivs.

Well if another person bids and there's still time left do not try and outbid them right away, otherwise it will just end up raising the price. Just wait until the last minute and put in your bid. It's your call on how much you wanna spend.

I want these to be my new primary boards. Something a little stiffer than what I'm on now...

Wish I read this thread earlier. I was bidding on the same skis. Sorry. I too got outbid at the last minute because I'm an e-bay JONG and could get my last bid submitted in time.

I'll keep looking for both of us (SheRa). In the meantime, any leads from anybody will be greatly appreciated. Not a "must-have" ski for me, just want to beef up the quiver.

Maybe someone will give us a break if we buy 2 pairs...

    Thanks.

download this if you want to have a better chance at winning a auction. It is sniping software, which will automatically put in a bid in the last couple seconds for the amount you want to pay. Ebay often changes there bidding process and other files; sometimes making the software not work so you need to check for updates every once in a while. Good luck on getting a pair of sticks.

Princess of Power have you tried e mailing mntlion? He might have some CMH's lying around, I picked up a beater pair for $150 in the deal he had this fall. I know there were better pairs availible, don't know when the heli season ends but I'm sure CMH will be dumping stock again

    SheRa,

It looks like onehotchili may have what you need. I haven't had any longer Explosivs for months, but take a look at these threads and let me know if I can help:

I may have some more skis in the next week or so.

I have a pair of 190s new and in the wrapper. I need $475 for them though, since that's what I paid for em.
