as of this point it appears to be more of a central to southern storm for us Vermonters...NWS claiming 100% chance of snow tonight...heavy at times..8 to 12" Ruland /Windsor countys.....unfortunately not so with upper Franklin county saying only 4 to 6'' but then there is that "Jay cloud" so you never know.

Looks like Southern VT area will get the blunt of this storm. And with snow forcasted for Friday - it could be a nice weekend in VT (it's about time).

Anyone up for Magic this weekend? Bring your rock boards.....

crashnburned, tomorrow is the day to use it.....the storm is being downgraded some by NWS to 6-10" in kmart county but ya know how county reports can be...
Got a gang of @ 7 locals....we are looking at first tracks at the superstar chair rather than the typical gondy start....probably hit upper ovation to lower first run bfore it gets tracked....you can try that change for a nickle deal or just look for a gang....big guy on Rex 190s, boeri helmet, short dude on pocket rockets blue helmet, stocky tele dude on k2 axis xp(i think xp) non helmet, another tele dude on work stinx non helmet, boeri helmet dude on atomic 11.20, nother stocky beared guy on atomic 10.22(?)non helmet, and some bearded guy on atomic10.20 or something from early 70's.
You guys who are going to Magic....good luck.....Magic is great, gnarly, love it but considering lack of base right now they will need more than this storm can offer and if you're not there Thurs. when they start running again.........................................
