Question How to look sick at work after being "sick"...

Here's a good one I haven't seen yet. How do you pull off the "sick" after calling in sick to ski? Sunblock while skiing is an obvious need. If you were out with laryingitis for two days and come back with a fat goggle tan and live in NYC, your goose is cooked...

The reason I ask is that Honc is returning to NYC after calling in sick friday and monday - he flew to San Fran interview for a new job (obviously did not tell current employer) skiied Alpine Meadows and sailed. He tells me he avoided the google tan but got a "healthy" dose of sun nonetheless...

any advice on erasing tans? looking sicker? caw?

Get drunk enough that you get a hangover. Then you really will be sick at work.

    Or, call in sick again.

What, he can't lay in the sun while he rests at home? Coming off of 2 sunny days around here he's in the clear.

Hmmmmm...it's pretty hard to cover up a nice sun baked face, not sure make-up would even do a thing, unless he's going for the girlish look...good luck with that

Sick as in gastrointestinal dysfunction. That'll clear the issue right up. No need to look 'sick"...cause you'll be feeling better and be much happier.

Plus you can still say it's not quite out of you and take extended bathroom breaks and catch up on some reading instead of working. Just make sure to eat a burrito the night before.
I've concluded that DJSapp was never DJSapp, and Not DJSapp is also not DJSapp, so that means he's telling the truth now and he was lying before.

    Simple.

    Stay awake until 4am.
Try to get up at 6am.

This way, you look like crap AND feel like crap. No faking necessary. Explain how miserable you were the day before & how you tossed & turned all night.

You'll spend the entire day telling everyone how much you're just looking forward to going home and getting a good night's sleep.

Hell, they may tell you to take the rest of the day off.
