    Aspen beta needed

I am an Aspen JONG and am headed there this weekend to burn some passes. Based on the forecast I do not foresee any epic powder experiences happening. Though the latest report is showing 1" of fresh at Highlands. Nice.

Anyway the plan is to head to Highlands on Saturday and do some laps in the bowl. There should be plenty of spring crud, I was out warming up in the corn this weekend. Any recommended lines in the bowl? Any other parts of the mountain that are worth checking out?

Since I am staying in Snowmass I will hit that Sunday. Any areas to focus on there?

Since I have an itch to eat some sushi and get drunk on sake, any recommendations on sushi joints or places to get drunk in general.

    Any information much appreciated.

    Gracias

As for the Bowl, in the morning stay with the corned side, luckily the least hiking, hit up Flips and Ballroom in the morning, and follow the sun. Spring Time and Olympic (try the ridge on the far left side of No Name) side will be good in the afternoon.... Good luck! Its kinda crappy unless warm... I'm already breaking out the climbing gear!

For drinks take the free shuttle from SMass into Aspen, hit up some of the "apres" specials (believe it or not Mezzaluna has a descent one) since your here for the weekend, Erics, Club Chelsea will be going off, but not neccesarily the funnest spots... Instead try The Grottos or 39 Degrees (located at the Sky Hotel).

Have fun... and if your around Sunday night, Ziggy Marley and Spearhead are playing the Snowmass Conference Center.

No problem, I am independently wealthy, I just sit at this desk everyday because it's fun.

I was up in aspen finishing off my college classic pass last weekend. One of the best spring skiing weekends I've ever had. As for the bowl There was a big patrol triggered slide on what I'm pretty sure is the east facing side. The snow was decent although nothing great and was pretty skied off in most places. Had a great time though. The view from the top is just nuts.
