CO Front Range Mags, I am looking for PT WORK

    CO MAGS,

I will be living in Denver for about two weeks starting May 18th. I am looking for part time work so I can make some extra cash before heading to New Zealand. PM me if you have anything you would like to set up.

Here is an idea.... Instead of working, you could

Buy as many snowboards as you can. Cheap off season deals or if you know any sponsored riders get some of their boards and pay them later. (I say snowboards because you can fit a bunch in a board bag w/o bindings) Stash them in a board bag, depending on your airline you might not have a weight limit (we didn't). Get them to NZ, then sell them for way more than you got them for in the US and you will still be hooking the buyer up. Boards cost twice what they do here brand new. We took about seven over and they helped pay for our trip. Plus we always had new boards to ride.

No, I am an adventure tour guide for high school kids. I spend the first month on the north island and then head to the south island for skiing. Therefore it makes it tough to bring a bunch of boards.

Have the kids bring em in their luggage!

Oh well, Have a good trip anyways! Don't miss the club fields and milford sound. Get in on some cheap heli-skiing too if you can. God I miss that place!

I'm pretty sure Rontele was looking for someone to rub his huge head a few times a week once he moved to Denver. You may want to look into that, but it probably doesn't pay well.

I have no problem with moving things. I am just looking for some random work. Looking to make around $12-15/hour depending on what I am doing. PM me if you want to work out the details.

$12 an hour for random work. You don't have a chance in hell. Maybe you shoudl not be such a snob and work for $10. That is the pretty standard rate for doing random shit work. Sorry mang, but you just put yourself right out of work.

^^^ $2 an hour difference and you're talking shit to the guy like that? I'm guessing if someone wants the work done, they'll be willing to give him an extra couple bucks an hour. I didn't know there was a standard wage for "random work".

I am just letting him know he is asking to much. $12-$15 an hour is way to much to do random work. People are looking to pay less when they hire someone from the street rather than a company.

UM. Alright. So then what should I tell the guy that just paid me $25/hour to do some roofing? I should probably give him some money back and tell him, it is just to much.

I understand if I work for you I will not ask for $12-$15. Thanks for the update. As I noted in the orginal post, I was willing to negotiate and work out the details. I appreciate your concern though.

I don't know goldenbear, but I think I'm going to send him twelve dollars and tell him to spend an hour doing something random.

    Just to prove beerski wrong.

and selling snowboards is a pretty decent Idea for generating NZ cash, if you can handle lugging tons of junk around the world. You could sell them in NZ, advertise them nationally on trademe.co.nz even before you get on the plane.
