    5-5-07 Alta Lenas:Part Two

A couple years ago, we had a little global warming spell, similar to today, and experienced Alta Lenas two years ago..

Well, it appears the global warming has returned to Alta Lenas, leaving us with well over a foot of new snow on May 5th. It was 85 degrees in SLC just a few days ago.

Shitty pics, as I was up there alone. But hopefully more will arrive later from the countless other folks up there today as I was leaving. Should be good tomorrow too, and maybe even monday.

    Early bird gets the worm.

Spun some laps in Ballroom, then bailed, off to work.

    Thumbs up

Ahh, that was sick. Took a few laps, last one down to the alta/snowbird connector road from the top of wildcat was the best. I swear 2 and a half feet of light snow was in there. Eagles nest wasn't bad either. West rus was pretty damn fun too. Shit, I think I should've stayed until dark.

Thanks to Dantheman and powho for the tour guiding and thanks to Trackhead for the lower mountain beta.
