N. Wind Rivers Current Conditions?

A few friends and I are heading into Tiitcomb Basin in the Winds in a few days. Word is that is currently dumping up there. Has anyone heard or seen first hand snowlines before and during this storm? Any info on snowpack and how the current weather is going would be helpful.

Hard to tell how much fell that close to the divide, but the rain/snow line was around 9000 feet for the last storm. Not as much precip fell as I had anticipated.

The first folks made it up to Elkhart by truck last weekend (!!!!!!!!!!! usually isn't til June) and you can make it easily with any 4wd to within about a mile of Elkhart with no trouble

Snowpack this season is more than likely at a 10-20 year low, if not more. Most of the snotels were reporting in the neighborhood of 10, maybe 15 inches of liquid precip for the winter season. still lots of lines looking plenty filled in up high, though.

It's been getting cold at night and the snow should be pretty firm even below treeline where it's usually pretty manky and unconsolidated this time of year. A couple of days ago I checked out conditions farther north in the range and there were bare slopes on S aspects to about 9500, but N. facing was still holding snow consistently from a little below that.

you wouldn't happen to be planning on skiing that line between Bob's Towers and Miriam, are you? NW couloir on Helen? Ellingwood? drooooooool.

pm if you need any more info, going to be doing a lot of poking around this weekend to figure out next week's plans.
