    Mammoth March 19-21

I know we're just coming off the Summit, but is anyone up for it?

    I'll be there 18-21.
Conditions have been fast and fun, but it is melting fast. We need that winter storm that the dweeb promises.

    I'm out..

    Vegas this wknd.

This past wknd was fun though, good corn on the 25 side, Hanger's was good (throat and apron)..and P1/P2 holding decent packed pow.

Yoga, you see that guy skiing with the antlers? That guy could RIP!
I have mastered all major sporting activities to a high degree of mediocrity.

    tuffy: dweeb report

That high has to break down sooner or later, right?
Bullet: wow! Hope your knee holds together.
Barnballs: Saw antler guy, also saw lots of bizarre outfits this weekend. Seems everybody pulled out their 80s gear, both equipment & clothing. Didn't know that bindings from 1987 held together this long. I've never seen sooo much old school skiing in one weekend.

I'd rather ride my bike than drop $60+ to ride manky snow. Besides, not sure my ankle can take skiing yet.

Can't make this weekend but going up the following one, 26th-28th, if you're down....

Bullet: Sucks man, sorry to hear that, hope you still have something left for the season, there's still the "real" exit out of Star left for ya!!

    thanks yoga.

i'm holdin' off until a storm hits. last tues-thurs was straight outta groundhog day. ie, 11:30am - chair 25 and 9, 2pm - chair 3 and cornice, 3-4pm - the backside, home, hot tub w/ beer, dinner, tv, sleep. rinse and repeat.
    fine

Lift price is high, still. It doesn't go down until after Easter even though we've got post-Easter weather happening now. If I didn't have a pass, I probably wouldn't head up...but then again, 4 hours of riding is better than no hours of riding, anyday.
Tuffy, I spent most of the morning on 5 and 3, Cornice and Scottys, then went backside. I thought it was great. I'm sporting one helluva goggle tan now, though.

Yo Bullet, from the doctor to"Balls" to the doctor? Did you hurt it more or is it just follow up?
Had a great weekend up in Esha Canyon; the BC is still holdin' up great here in the Sierras.
I will attempt to stop being lame and remember my camera next time. "You Idiot" and put some pics up!
    Sundays anyone?
Gave up on the bottle, give me the lobotomy.

Ahhhhhh, two buddies' b-day weekend in Laughlin just came up. Probably won't go to Mammoth this weekend. Plus the weather issue. I've got a pass but I think I'll wait till it's really Spring to ski Spring snow. Still waiting for that big March storm that seems to hit every year. Could more pow days be on the way?

I might be there. But Whistler looks like it's getting puked on, and I have a voucher for Air Canada... Neeeeeed Powder!!!!!!!

Edit: My sister wants to meet me there this weekend. She wants to stay somewhere nice, I want to stay somewhere cheap. Can anyone recommend a non-rathole middle-of-the-road type establishment?

So if anyone is up there, I'll be at the Main Lodge Deck at about 1ish - at the bar. Big group celebrating a birthday (not mine).

I'm thinking hard about a B/C trip in 10 days. I'm thinking Red Slate - overnighter. Something you might be interested in?

Skier - the "real" exit out of star might have to wait 'till next year.....maybe.
You going up next weekend? I should be up. In case you need a visual on the "real" exit out of Star, check to your left
