Dave and I are camping, probably rolling down the night of the 3rd, and leaving on the 5th. Whats the number to reserve a camping spot?

Does anyone have snow condition beta? How is Hood holding up? Have the campers taken over Palmer? Is the corn smooth or 6 inch cups??

Well, looks like real-life is catching up... 50/50 on whether or not I can make it. Dave has to work. So that means solo mission at least to olympia...

Campground is literally across the highway from the entrance to timberline, should be lots available. If you read earlier pages Fieldy's Nuts is willing to share his campsite with mags. If you want to reserve your own, go to reserveamerica.com When I went two years ago it was 7 bucks a night.

Just for the record, I've tried my hardest to NOT look at this thread. But it keeps coming up to the top of the page and I finally looked.

    Damn you all!
I really wish I could be there but alas, real life wins again
I'll go to bed tonight with some Ski porn and hopefully I can dream while you actually live!

    Have fun, and post pics!

Do it! You get to the parking lot by the lodge, sleep in the car for a couple hours then ski! After skiing party in the parking lot for awhile then drive home, you'll recover in a few days! Thats usually how I do it coming from Bellingham, but then I may be an idiot , thats what my non skiing friends think anyway. As a matter of fact it looks like thats what I'll do today but maybe leave earlier than usual, like around 6pm.
In drove this drunken madman and stopped on a dime! Unfortunately the dime was in Mr. Rococo's pocket!

I'm not going down tonight, but I am coming down tonight.
If you bring your guitar and/or fiddle we could play some tunes after skiing tomorrow. I'll have a fiddle with me so I can stop at the Port Townsend festival on the way home and have some tunes there. I don't know when I'll show up tonight at T-line, it may be too late to go to the campground as I have to stop in Seattle to pick up CDs and schmooze with Phil and Vivian Williams. Didn't you say you knew them from Weiser?

So I'm off to pack the car, cheers!
