If you guys head accross via the island to PA, I have room for both of you and an extra.

All of a sudden, I may have this weekend to myself, meaning I'm free to come and hang out. And since I've been a bad friend and haven't been back to OR to visit since I moved out three years ago (GAWD, has it been that long?), mebbie I'll do a little Bend-Hood-Cascade volcano trip.

I guess it's coming up pretty fast, eh? Hmm, I'll have to look into this...

I'll be pulling into the campsite Sunday afternoon. Should be good times and looks like there will be some newcomers as well.

    Still chewing through the ropes.
Shit's been going sideways for me, but I'm aiming for it.
If it all works out, I'll land in your campsite Sunday evening with a friend, Fieldys. That cool? We can help with rent.
It's all too tenuous to reserve a spot.

Daaaaaave what are we doing? The phones are still down here on the glacier, so do you wanna go to the island and catch the ferry? I have lots of fam/friends in Vic, so we could leave a vehicle there, or just drive. It might cost less to just drive.. because of the ferry and extra driving time from PA. Who knows... and what about dates? I need to email work. Super stoked, cant wait!

Its looking grim for us. We'll see though. If its gonna happen for us then we'll prolly do something like leave MT on the afternoon of the 3rd and get there late at night. Ski the 4th and then hightail it back here that day or possibly on the 5th. I'll post when I know for sure.

    Edited for stupidity

My son's birthday is the 7th and he wants to stay home....so the only day I could make it would be the 4th proper...

So motivate me...who's going to be there?

Thursday bump. I have a couple more questions. Where is the Still Creek camground and do you need reservations prior to showing up and last but not least, there are a couple of you saying you are showing up the 4th, anybody showing up sooner?

Just so folks don't have to read the first 3 pages....

Its still a go go go go for me. I am heading down to Hood Sunday morning after work. I should be rolling into Still Creek Campground at around 1-2ish. I have paid for spot #2 for Sun-Tues night. Still Creek Campground is located just down the road from Government Camp. Mags are welcome to crash at my spot, should be room for 6-8. I will be bringing a little BBQ, meat, booze, beer, some firewood, perhaps the bike, the D O G and other assorted amenities and toys. I think I made reservations through reserveamerica.com. I will try to stop by Costco and pick up some meat and Busch 30 packs for the post skiing Summer Summit Traditional Maggot Tail-Gate Party in the Timberline parking lot.

    Prepare for FUN

    Any questions?

If you bring that guy things will definately get broken! Cultvo is a real skiing superhero in my book. Drag his ass down there. Tell him Eva will be there.
