    bummer...the 4th this year is f@#k3d.

we only get Wednesday off, instead of a smackin' killer 5-day weekend!

    bummer two-fold.

i have been eyeing a road trip, though, at some point...

Famille Highmen is queuing it up to roll down there either Tuesday night or more likley Wednesday, the 4th, hanging in HR for the evening of the 4th and then heading up to Timberline for a couple of nights 7/5-7/6?

Does anyone know how well the snow is holding on the magic mile?

Should still be doable during then...It's warming up a little more than usual, but the snowpack is pretty good. The real problem will be how quickly the snow will turn sticky during the day. Rite now, it's sticky by about 11:30am.

I'll be there on the Saturday after the 4th, 07-07.

Another Hood JONG here. What is the terrain like? Just groomed or is there a variety? Are the terrain parks open to the general public? Are there mid size jumps or only huge kickers? Is it worth a 12 hour drive?

Thinking of a birthday treat in July.

I am most likely in. Just need to present this DAMNED thesis....
Our world is full of surrender at the first sign of adversity, do not give up when the challenge meets you, meet the challenge. Through perseverance comes the rewards, the rewards that make life so enjoyable.

Seize the day, trusting little in the future.

if you want something, go after it. if you want to screw someone over, look DEEP in your heart and realize Karma is a bitch

Hey Pat, like butter on toast, I will be there! Do you have some new toys to tease me with. I may be showing up with some NTN tele stuff. I'm off work Sunday morning till Thursday morning and should be at the camp spot or Hood River early Sunday afternoon or so. My plans are pretty open really. If nobody shows up I might just ski a day then head to the Oregon coast for a day/night. Whats Natty up to?

Cool. Gotta call the Natster. I'm just winging it, as usual. I'll bring a tent and sleep wherever. I gotta make sure those boards have left Suisse...
I should have some 169s, 179s, 186s, 188s and 192s for everyone to play with, too.

    rd,
You need to celebrate Canada Day so hard you have to take the 2nd to 5th off

I'm leaving the night of the 3rd and coming back night of the 4th unless I get the 3rd and 5th off, fat chance If you drive down to Bellingham we could carpool. You're in N. Van aren't you?
In drove this drunken madman and stopped on a dime! Unfortunately the dime was in Mr. Rococo's pocket!

Hmmm. I wonder if the Ashean team can make it? I'll look into it. I think I have a way to pay for the gas (my father in-law needs steel siding for his house that is made and sold ONLY in a place just south of Olympia.) The only thing that may stop us is work schedules.

I'm leaving for Idaho in a few hours so if I don't answer your pm right away thats why. I can usually get computer access a few times during the week to check on stuff. I'll be back next Sunday night, so you'll hear from me then if not sooner.
