    Please reccomend an automobile GPS

I think I rember a recent thread about this but couldn't find it. I searched for "GPS" but was told that is too short a term to search for. It might have been on another forum. If anyone could direct me to the other thread, I would appreciate it.

My wife needs a automobile GPS for work, so I got her a Magellan Roadmate 3000T for Xmas. Total piece of shit: 1) The thing that holds it where you can see it broke. 2) The suction cup that attaches it to your windshield doesn't work anymore. 3) The power input socket broke off and is rattling inside the unit, and the unit doesn't power on. Fortunately, I bought it at Cosco so it is going to returned soon.

Does anyone have suggestions of automobile GPS's that they have been pleased with?

2nd the Garmin Nuvi series. Ours works quite well. We have the 350 which is quite diminutive compared to some others I've seen. Girlfriend takes it with her on the bus and train and uses it as an mp3 player as well, since it has an SD slot.

I don't need a GPS because I sense lines of magnetic force and I can see for miles.

I run the family owned business, which is a RadioShack dealer franchise.

Out of all the GPS units we sell, the Garmin Nuvi's are the least returned and most intuitive...It's the one I got for my wife and she love's it.
