    Good luck Mofro

Mofro is going under the knife Wed. Believe it or not he broke his ACL in Dec. and continued to kick butt all winter. He's almost as good as Kevin Andrews even with out the ACL.

See you next season, good luck rehabbing

I, for one, am dissapointed about the surgery. With one ACL, Mofro was only 35 times faster than me. I can only assume that he'll come through with flying colors and be back to skiing 400 times faster than me. I am now 11.43 times less likely to be able to keep up with the Grand Poobah of Alpental. ...and oh yeah, he's on fat skis now; which is like giving Barry Bonds an aluminum bat.

Best of luck G. Tell the doc to put a few extra stitches in there so it will stay together this time. No sense going through another season shattering the egos of your ski buddies as you "rip the shit out of this" on one and a half legs.

Guess that fluid trainer is in for some major abuse when you get back from the operating table. Poor little bike trainer, it's not even a fair fight.

If I'm not mistaken, you blew it the day I arrived at Crystal.

Good luck buddy, you've got plenty of torn ACL partygoers on this board.

Be forewarned! Just one run with the evil one will leave its mark forever.

    Thanks for the vibes.

So glad I listened to some of the advice (esp Huckwheat) on this board and braced the knee and kept going. I ended up with a lot of quality days and nights skiing after thinking the season was over. Big thanks to all of you who were patient enough to ski with me. I should be back in action by next Dec.

It kind of sank in today at the doc when he was describing what was going to happen tomorrow. Phrases like "drill pilot hole" and "hopefully we won't hit existing hardware" were thrown around and I'm thinking holee shit this really is a major remodel. I go in at 6am and get to come home by 9 though, cpm already here. Then I heart meds.
Move upside and let the man go through...

Hope everything went well, Mofro. You had a superhero season considering other people would have called it "over." I have a feeling rehab & next year will be more of the same. In the meantime, I'm sure the TGR sommelier Buster will be happy to dispense wine & med pairing advice.
