NSR: need photo lab in SLC

    not for my mother's snapshot......

I know there are a few photogs on the board, so i was wondering.....who do you trust here? Mostly i need a lab with a dip and dunk e-6 with a good reputation in quality control....

i had one reccomendation for pictureline, though they aren't in my phonebook and their website says nothing of film or print services

Many people in SLC call Creative Color (now called Ferrari Color) "Wreck your color".......I've had them destroy many of my slides in the past and wouldn't take responsibility for it. They have a better turn around time, but I wouldn't trust them. They had ruined about 8 of my rolls from last year.

    Borge. No question for me.

I've also had good results with Phototec too....forgot about them.

Wreck your color has put fingerprints on my film, looks like the film got off track in the processing machine and the middle of the film got cranked over the drive sprokets and took chunks out of my emulsion.....that has happened 4 times now.....all of course on really good sequences of course! I've also had numerous scratches that usually last the whole roll. They blamed it on my camera not being clean. I clean that thing all the time, and once I started going to Borge, it stopped happening!

    Don't trust em Lynx......
They do however do very good scanning and incredible printing work......then again so does Borge.

Lynxie, this is where all the pros I know, with the exception of Brent Benson, go.
