Don't most of the Lenz bikes have the pivot built around the BB so there is no chain growth?

That BCD stuff is kinda wild. Was it fast?

Flo, it could be, I don't know much about them. I was just guessing some random rigs that JeffJim may have ridden.

But to be on topic.... That Blindside looks pretty dope.

BCDs are fast. Fast as shit actually. The bike was low, stiff as shit, had gobs of travel and ate bumps very well due to the severly rearward axle path. It took some getting used to the chainstays growing but it was fast.

The bike didn"t pedal that well even with a cog at the main pivot, very similar to a lenz.

The problem was all the little things. Spacing was bizzare, we were running 20mm rear hubs (razor rock SHIT), the shock hardware would bend etc....but the bike was the easiest/fastest I've ever ridden.

On topic, the Transition does look sweet for the purpose...simple, burly, versatile, kinda cheap.

I was seriously thinking DirtBag or Blindside for my next rig.

But the new Banshee Rune is much much more suited to my riding. I've always done more with less bike. So a rock solid 6inch all mountain ripper with a 7inch 66 is gunna be my next bike.

I think it's time for the Yeti to go to a new home. And a Blindside to be my new partner in crime I just can't resist that lower BB and floater brake. And 8" travel. And...and...August can't get here fast enough.
