SKI LAS LENAS 2007
I am selling two condos, which sleep 5 each, at the Gemini lodge for two weeks at the end of prime season skiing at Las Lenas - last week of July through first week of August, 2007. (Lift tickets can be purchased at a slight discount through the condo people ahead of time, or you can work out some plan on your own. I can advise you on this, if you like.)

Each condo has one bedroom with a double-bed and each living room has three single beds (two that serve as couches in the day and one murphy-bed that folds up on the wall). There's a bathroom and an extra vanity sink and a kitchen with microwave, two burner stove-top, fridge and sink. Plenty of closet space. TV. You get maid service daily w/ modest breakfast. The lodge has hot tub, sauna, and pool. It is right across the street from the welcome center and walk on - about 30yrds/mtrs from the lifts.
There is a restaurant downstairs that serves good, cheap food with great salad bar, if you're too tired to head out to eat after skiing. The supermarket is also about 30yrds away up the hill away from the slopes.

Transport costs are up to you. I can give you any number of options w/ pros and cons. I've done nearly all of them. For the cheapest and easiest, I'd take the dormibus from BA over night. For the most luxurious ride, I'd have to arrange a flight for you through the condo people to fly into Malargue from BA, which is then another 45min-1hr van ride from the hill. There is also options of San Rafael and Mendoza, which are 3 to 5 hour van rides away from the hill but have great food and wine, if you want to kick around there for a day or two.

I'm looking for at least $500 a week for each room.That makes it a $100 a week a person if you can fill them, but if you take both rooms for the two weeks, we might be able to negotiate a discount. If I don't get any good offers, I'll probably have the condo management rent them for me. In the past, however, they have been arses about it, so I'd rather see if anyone heading down from the States or Europe is interested and cut out the middleman.

Great big mountain for steeps and off piste! Last year they bought a bunch of Piston Bully cats for running resort based catskiing. Pretty cool, although they messed up the seating in them. My family will still be going this year but we are cutting back to just one final week due to scheduling conflicts.
