    Seattle beer event

"Hops on Equinox" Friday 3/19 and Saturday 3/20 at the Seattle Center.

Here's a "must-try" beer that will be poured:

    Bear Creek Brewing Company

    Serving: BC Bud

is a hemp beer made with over 9 pounds of toasted hemp seeds. This beer is a nut brown that has a hint of hemp, very robust and not too bitter.

    Thumbs up

Tried a new beer this weekend - it's a Belgian Pale Ale but drinks more like a Pilsner, still I thought it was well worth quaffing.

I just picked up a bottle of this yesterday but haven't had it yet.

Not sure if I'll be able to go to the beer fest or not. My alma mater (Michigan State) is playing in the NCAA tournament Thursday and hopefully Saturday here in Seattle. I'd like to go to the game(s) if I can get tickets.

I think if you go into it (trying the beer) thinking "Pilsner" rather than "Ale." You'll like it a lot better. It's not a beefy beer at all but as I said it's good. It would be fantastic on a hot day or with spicy food. No head, pale saffron color with floral hop and a spice finish.
