    Cutting Dados

Need some wood cutting advice here. I need to cut a some 1/8 dados and would like to us a circular saw. It seems like all the dado kits for table saws start at 1/4 inch and standard circular saw blades are about 1/16 inch wide leaving me stranded in the middle. Is stacking 2 standard 1/16 inch blades in a circular saw to get a 1/8 inch dado a bad idea?

    How about a router?

A good router costs about the same as a good dado set.

That is the suggestion I'd make if you didnt want to get the dado set up....get a router and buy a jig for dado cutting.

You could try making a couple of cuts next to each other with a circular saw.
