    14er Conditions

Yo, looking for reports on current 14er conditions. Heading for a 4/21 overnighter, and I cant see very well from out here in the front range. So if you have info on Holy Cross, anything in 10mile, or the front range peaks - please post. Snow conditions, weather, anything even if you just glanced at one the other day.

Keep posting here too! On any of the 14ers! If you know something or heard something or saw something; post it here! peace.

Snow conditions for what you're asking are pretty dismal on wind blown slopes. Weather has been pretty windy on the front range mountains, can't say for sure about 10 mile but Quandary is usually a pretty good bet unless it's miserable out. Your best bet, check www.14ers.com for specific peak conditions.

You're going in late April, chances are things will be different... unless 4/21 means something other than April, 21st.

global warming my ass feels nice

haha, yeah my attemt was thwarted by a stuck vehicle. I drove up as fas as I could to find a blazer stuck in the snow, pulled him out, parked, made the approach and got socked in, on my way out as I was turning aroun the snow had softened up and my truck just sank. There was no getting it out. So the next day a friend came up with his Wrangler that was sittin on fo fo's. 44 inch tires that is. F'ing huge and he barely made it up to where I was. So long story short we did'nt summit last year. Going to try again this year, and just boot it up the Dead Dog. GOing to leave the truck at the bottom to say the least. Although it may be june before the snow settles! Hell yeah 135% of snowpack!! Global Warming my ass...

You do realize there is a difference between Climate which is what Global Warming deals with....and weather.....which is what a single storm or single season is right?
