    ATTN Midwest Mags! DA U.P.

End of season mini-summit. Marquette Mountain, Saturday. We're grilling out and drinking beer on the hill all day. Traditionally, we set up a makeshift golf course on the hill and hit around some plastic practice balls. Bottle rockets, firecrackers and other fireworks are never out of the question. We have a set of tandem skis that usually make an appearance...

Costumes and/or retro attire are both welcome and encouraged.

    Check in here. Who's coming?

I'll have meatdrink9 do the lighting for the shot. He'll make it artsy as fuck."

Not that it matters....but it's not actually in the mitten.

The Mitten is the LP. The LP is shaped like a mitten. See?

Would love to make it, but spent my last weekend at Bohemia. Sounds like a blast, and almost identical to my past few trips to dah yoo-pee. Have fun, you crazy kids.

Damn, glad I checked into this thread. I was getting ready to pack up for the trip up north. Shiiiiit. Well, I guess, maybe the season should be over for me. The Honey-do list has been growing all winter long.

That's stupid. I play disc golf because it costs me no money (now that the pup can find the discs in the woods and streams). Granted, every spring most of the regulars help out in cleaning up/clearing out the course.

I'll go into to the woods and designate different trees as "holes" before I would pay to play.

Threw storage wax on my last pair of sticks today. My season is over. Golf clubs are now where the skis used to go. A sad day, indeed.

    Have fun, Yoopers!
