I mean really, how good could it be? 3 feet of fresh on 20 feet of base? Yea, sounds fantastic...

I really want to get over there, but it looks doubtful. The added cost of a new transmission on the last trip took a little bite out of the old pocketbook.

    How good is it?

Alyeska is reporting 11 inches, at the BOTTOM! I figure you guys got a little more then we did.

Well, It wasn't the best or deepest day I have ever had on the road run, but it was damn good. Things were filled in at certain areas and allowed for exploring/alderwhacking new lines in. If you didn't want to, you wouldn't have to cross any tracks except for the mandatory run outs and I put in a few new ones of those as well. I'd say that the touring is now set up AWESOME for later this week, as it came in wet and dried out.

Face shots were had, but only via exploring; the main areas were already skied/boarded up slightly.

edit - AS for the skiing on stuff that isn't wind exposed and already skied,

    Waist deep.
