G' Love was absolutely amazing last night ... right from the beginning he came out and blew the doors off the place!!! Some of the best moments from a fresh set list:

    Waiting
    Please do not go
    slide guitar with the mike
    his new song
and the hippy on the chello

he doesn't have a show for few days so he WENT OFF!!!

those that missed it, missed a great one

p.s. the sound in the Depot is the best of all the SLC venues; SS tonight should be sickter!!!!

    Good times.

We're all over here for a last minute BBQ. Xover is loud, as always and Bum Z's girlfriend is demanding he comes home....dude, it's only 8:34pm?!

Agreed, great day of skiing even if the conditions weren't great, we still found some good snow in the trees. I am glad I didn't grab my bag full of beers down in the Jeep, I might still be up there...

I have to say the kid with the black sharpied front teeth was a riot.

Sorry we missed everybody! We packed up early to get back and ski.... and then I couldn't resist stopping to ride Sovreign on the SS on the way home.

Decent skiing, fresh snow, freaks in costumes, gnomes, a dude riding a long board and a snowlerblade on the other leg, telemonoskier and the Highboy festivities.
Beer bongs, carbombs, giant wooden spoons, joints, pipes, and as many varied forms of copping a buzz as I've ever seen on a mountain top.
    But most of all
Ive never met a maggot I didn't like and it was damn good to add to the list.

Great meeting some new people yesterday and a big thanks to bushwhacker, skifishbum and MD9 for making even getting on the hill possible. Hadn't skied with the pops in a few years, pretty sweet that at the spur of the moment we got enough gear put together for 3 people....
(started saturday night with no gear and by sunday morning had more then enough, even a few extra pairs of skis on the roof)

    you guys all rawk!!!

Xover--everyone knows that you are the kook, and what ever happened to you at Bad News?

(Xover scouts the Bad News straightline for me, says it looks crusty, but also says that if I hit it, he will. So I drop in blind from the top, hit the line, come out of Bad News at 100mph and then Xover goes around, and disappears never to be seen again)

Oh well buddy, I guess that is what you get for trying to keep up with a "kook". See you next year!

I'm five El stops from Grant Park...got a spare room. Last year was a good show, I was out of town, but friends said it was great.

As you know Chitown is a great summer city!

    Anytime man...
