    Indian spices in Summit County?

So we're looking to make the move from Denver to Silverthorne in the next few months. We cook a lot of curries at home and make a trip to the Indian stores in Aurora about once a month to stock up. So are there any stores in Summit County that carry good Indian spices? I'm thinking big jars of ginger and garlic paste, turmeric, coriander, chili powder, etc.?

I don't think the helpful people in this thread realize that the OP wants a brick and mortar option.

There is a new Vitamin Cottage in Silverthorne, that may be a good option...

Yeah, internet places are well and good (I've ordered from The Spice House and Penzey's), but really am looking for a b&m. Will have to check out the Vitamin Cottage. I guess I'll have to resign myself to the fact that we're not going to get a huge jar of garlic paste for $4 anymore.

There is a new Indian resturaunt in Frisco. I'd wager they have to buy their spices somewhere.

And if you cook indian food and need someone else to eat it, I'll be happy to bring wine/beer over and assist

Guest list = started. I'm pretty new to skiing and TGR, but hope to hang more with the maggots (if I can!) once we make the move and recover from my ACL surgery.

Please let me know if/where you find any good spices out here. I haven't seen much of anything at the usual stores - City Market, etc. that would pass muster at home.

Add me to the guest list when you make the move
