I cancelled my classes and ditched work during the week back in mid-March after Kirkwood got the 10' dump over the weekend. The snow was sticking at 1,000 ft which would lead you to believe that the conditions would be the best the CA has to offer, right? Wrong. The water content was still close to 10%. Kirkwood was okay, but by no means the best I've ever seen it.

Face it. The snow in CA sucks. I'd move back to Utah if those fucking mo mo's would allow medi-pot, but we all know it aint gonna happen.
Did you ski Utah in february? I did get quite a few face shots that month, though it was the only one.

Can people who don't have a clue really jinx a storm? He's so worried about rain and wants it to snow at 4500, when we'd be absolutely best off with snow levels 6500-7000 and lots of wind. Should it snow anything less than 3' with snow levels at 4500, you might as well break out the rock skis and throw in the mouthguard, cause skiing on coral is so much fun!

COldrain, your such a puss, move back to UTah!! Have you ever heard of Gore-0Tex? Or Testicles? IF I get wet i don't cry to my momma, I suck it up and schralp like a man. If it is rain the snow will be soft and fun. There is no "shitty snow", only shitty skiers like you. What ever we get I will schralp the shit out of it because I can.

even if it does snow, it doesn't have anything to fall on except for dirt and rock. this storm should have taken place in october or november as a base builder. don't really think it's gonna be a powder day to look forward to too much. good news is that it extends the backcountry season a little hopefully.

whatever, stoked for next season. i was optomistic until about 3/4 of the way through march and nada. bummed

Ya, but for that to happen this year you really have to have the touch.
