    Trigger Pulled!!!!!

The wife and I have been thinking of moving for a while now. We looked at Anchorage, SLC, Denver, Jackson, Bozeman, Bellingham, Calgary, and Vancouver. We love Montana but living in Laurel is just not cutting it. We like certain things the big cities have to offer but are not big city people. Our list was narrowed to places that would get us "in" the mountains. Jobs in my wifes field were not available in Jackson and Bozeman. About 2 weeks ago she applied for a job in Vail, Co. A couple of phone interviews later she was offered the job. We went up to Vail today to look around and get a feel for the area. We were familiar a little with the area, but wanted to see her job place exactly and the people. We were happy with what we found and have decided to make the move. She will start around the first of June. I will remain in MT for awhile to sell our house there. She will stay in provided housing for 30 days then look to move. At this point it looks like she will try to get a roommate for awhile as we don't know how long it will take to sell the house. As soon as we do, I will move to CO as well and look for a house. We think we would like to live anywhere between say Silverthorne, Frisco area to Edwards. We are excited yet anxious as there is alot to do between today and the day we can sit back and chill at a new place in CO. 30 and 32 years old and finally deciding to live in the mountains and live the dream as much as possible. Here we come Colorado!!!!

Congrats man... you'll love the area.

You may want to stay on the west side of Vail Pass though- that can get pretty nasty in the winter.

My buddy has his house up for sale in Edwards. Might be sold pretty soon, though. PM for address if you want.
I like living where the Ogdens are high enough so that I'm not everyone's worst problem.- YetiMan

If you don't mind me asking, what do you and your wife do? Always curious as to jobs that allow people to live in the mountains. Hopefully I can find one of em someday.
