    Northeast 15-Day Weather Pattern

Prevailing below average temperatures basically per accuweather.com.

Not as cold as the next few days, but shouldn't be seeing a high over the low-mid 40s up until Mid-late April. Nighttime lows of low-mid 20s.

I am going to be up in Vermont in May visiting Green Mountain College and checking out some things with the girlfriend as we will be moving to Rutland in '08. Wonder if Killington will be having a long season this year if the cooler air forecast is correct?

Welcome to RutVegas, enjoy the show!

K doesn't have enough snow to last much past the beginning of May...even with this new snow. Next season, with new ownership and hopefully a ton more snowmaking, June skiing may once again be a possibility.
Ski it. It'll make you feel good.

When you look at a Killington snow gun blasting out the white stuff, you see snow coming out.
ASC saw money getting blown into thin air.

Hopefully w/ new management they'll realize that a Ski Resort exists so people can ski. There were so many days this year they should have had been blowing snow everywhere they could and they didn't do a damn thing.

Cause for 2 months it was 55 degrees and rainy. Anything blown was washed away- and it just wasnt very cold a lot of the early season in general.
If they want to spend a ton on snowmaking, making a season until June they will either need to make cuts elsewhere or raise ticket/pass prices from the ultra-cheap ASC pass.

Killington was overcome by ASC's debt. ASC returned only 15% of Killington's profit to Killington. Yes pass prices will go up next year, but all the money Killington makes goes to Killington and not to paying Les' debts. Should leave plenty of cake for building the Superstar glacier...

Pass prices need an adjustment anyways...no where else on the planet are passes to a decent mountain so cheap - never mind 5 on one pass. $300 passes are a thing of the past, but hopefully so is the bottom of the barrel ski experience at Ktown...
