Need to find a good boot fitter in salt lake!

Im dying here I bought a boot that feels good that is untill I started turning on it. The arches of my feet are killing me, I had footbeds put in and had one place blow them out but I cant even tell that they did anything. Does anybody know a good place close to salt lake that can make em fit?
    Thanks

I went here from a friend's recommendation. Really nice old guy that seemed to have been doing it a long time. From talking to other people in there, his reputation seemed pretty exceptional.

    Sports Loft Rocks

Earl is the older store owner mentioned - he and his son Jeremy are outstanding and will work hard with you to get a good fit. No complaints with these guys - my wife and I both use them and really rate them highly.

Guys at the Lifthouse at the mouth of BCC are great too. Had them grind a pair of Kryptons while we were out there. Ever since then, they've fit great...and the charge price wasn't too bad either.

While I doubt you need the grinding service, I'm just saying they definitely know their shit at a fair price =)

Sport Loft is much better than Lifthouse but you will pay good money to get Earl's help. If you do end up going to the Lifthouse, ask for Chris, he's the best one there imo.

I have severely tweaked ankles and feet, Earl's the best I've dealt with by far.

    Boot Fitter in SLC

The Deep Powder House at Alta & Christy Sports at Snowbird. Also, Sure Foot in Park City. Sure Foot does a lot of the US Ski teams gear. All the Ski Patrollers & actual sponsored athletes I know only go to one of these three. I have also heard good things about the others mentioned, but I have no actual experience from them to speak from. I use a Sure Foot custom foam injected liner & orthotic & then have Christy Sports do a little tweaking to fit since I ski at the Bird. I would go visit all of these shops mentioned & go with who you feel the most comfortable with. Plan on investing a fair amount of dinero & time! It will probably be the most costly investment on ski gear but yer boots are the most important piece of equipment you will have and it will be worth every penny. Oh, I have a few Patroller buds who also swear by Dale Boot both for boots & any type of fitting.
Well thar ya go, now get busy!
