    How did I get here?

Wow...strange day. I showed up to work this morning with no motivation to teach (possibly due to a fun filled day with an uncoordinated, over-weight, whiny 7 year old on the magic carpet yesterday...and it was a powder day! ) So, I got out of work today. Skied for a couple hours. Wasnt feeling it. i.e. I was skiing like shit. So I decided to go home for a bit and head out to the pass this afternoon. I checked my schedule back in the locker room and found that I have 4 days off in a row! Hm, that got the wheels turning. Within an hour I was in my truck and on the road. Homeward bound... 7 1/2 hrs later I was at my front door trying to remember where I put my house keys 4 months ago. I'm not really sure what I'm doing here. I think I just needed to take a break from JH. My mind hasnt really been on skiing for the past couple days. It should be good for me to get away from it for a bit and ride my bike, play with the dog and sort my life out. I'm not saying I wont be skiing this week...it'll just be at a different place. I probably be poking around Summit County this week. I'm considering the aspen comp this weekend, but I only brought my AT gear, so it probably wont happen. (Damn spontaneity) So, if any CO maggots wanna go skiing drop me a line...and thats the end of my pointless story
