I'll probably end up in Vail tomorrow if they get the goods. I'll be on Praxis, ask for change.

I picked the wrong week to leave the state.

I'll go to Vail/BC if they get 14". But, most likely, I'll go to the Basin or Breck.

wish I could say I was getting after it - but we're headed to Steamboat Thursday night and I have to work wed/thu... poor timing for me on this one.

oh well, I'm glad we're getting some snow! Hopefully I can scour up a few good dregs at the boat on Friday, or maybe the system will stick around a bit longer than predicted.

    Enjoy it y'all.

This system looks super impressive, the afternoon discussion was highlighting the wind over the precip, however. they are painting a warning due to the tranquil spring (it would have otherwise been an advisory). that being said, any snow is good snow and i may have to get after it, if I can put out some fires with respect to school

Alright, you got me, have to ask....how did you pick 14"? So if they get 13" you are not going?

And why would you choose breck?

Because the warning says 8"-14" of new snow. So, if they get the max amount forecasted, or more god willing, then I will head over to Vail or BC. Breck, well....I just haven't been there a ton this season so I figured since I have a pass that enables me to ski there I should make a visit. I don't think I have skied there since November or December.

That's total into Thursday morning though. I doubt they get 14" overnight.

well, let's hope. that's one of the reasons I said I would go because I would like to see Vail/BC get 14" overnight. Chances are it won't happen, but I can always dream of mongolia bowl with 14" of sierra cement.

I'm hoping for Thursday morning. I'm thinking WP, but that's not set.

Scattered through Wednesday night, so... we'll see.

Maybe dp @ BP Thursday? Unless it really dumps after WP closes Wednesday in which case I'm gonna burn a day off my 4 Pass and head to BP around lunch time when the easy to access goods at WP have been exhausted.

If Vail gets the goods, should we do East Vail tomorrow? The bottom is probably shit though.

Vail reports 43" base /w spring conditions

I've done EV when it gets kind of thin at the bottom

    But we make do:

But if Vail gets the goods I'm in!

Otherwise I'll ski something in the SuCo area. Keystone and the Basin called in big numbers 3 days ago. And I'll give ya a ring then Squatch.

Planning on A-basin with my wife and baby on Thurs. We have some free tickets, and Momma needs to makes some turns. I'll probably spend a bunch of time at the base. Anyone want to show Krystal Kartwright around? Think they'd mind if I skin the area with the baby in a backpack?

We are (hopefully) picking up a new vehicle tomorrow to replace the one I pounded a deer with last week. We'll never make it in the dodgy rig we've borrowed.

I plan on calling in sick on Thursday, so I'll be out and about. Not sure where yet though- depends on the snow. If Vail gets the goods, I'll make the drive. If not, its probably a Loveland day for me. I'll be out Friday too.
