    I got fucking worked today...

...and now my back and knee have me hobbling around like an old man. Ever get bent in half, the wrong way? Ya, it hurts. Oh well at least I can still walk and all that fun stuff, unlike the poor fool that wrapped himself around a tree at seven springs a couple of weeks ago.

Did that last season, 60cm of wet pow + 70mm underfoot = one badass scorpion + bruised vertebrae and about 4 months until full recovery.

If it's the same as mine, movement is your friend, that and ice... sweet sweet ice.

And you'll be back on the slopes as soon as possible, right?

FYI - Improving core strength might minimize the risk of back injury in the future.

    i felt your pain

Did the same thing as well-- definitely scares you a bit at first. After 3-4 weeks you'll have no problems unless you go to arch your back. For me, the arching pain still hasn't gone away and its been almost 2 months

Yes sadly, that was me back when i was an overweight redneck woman. Frankly, I got what I deserved, I had no business being anywhere other than the couch watching jerry springer & eating a bucket of chicken, i dont know what i was thinking.

Woke up this morning and could barely stand up. But at five pm I am already feeling a lot better, less stiff and my knee feels totally fine, however my lower back and shoulders are still sore. Driving sucks ass, but other then that its not too bad, I think I should be totaly fine by Friday, although I am going to learn how to snowboard tommorow so Ill probably just fuck my self up more.

When it happened I was scared that I actually did some real damage. Basically I did a belly flop, slid downhill on my chest for about twenty yards, hit a mogul, and felt a sharp pain in my lower back as I damn near booted my self in the back of the head. I went from bieng pain free and feeling great to my back screaming, my chest pounding from having the wind knocked out of me, and my elbows bleeding from skiing in a t-shirt. Needless to say after that I called it a day. But already Im feeling a lot better so I think im fine.
