I have looked at marshalolson's thread about ski recommendation's and flexes, but I didn't see anything that referenced the Dynastar 8800.
So could someone compare the flex of the Dynastar 8800 to the Volkl Karma?
Thanks

I have the karma's mounted with alpine bindings and 8800's mounted with telemark bindings. The 8800 feels like a heavier ski and stiffer. Since they are mounted differently and I am new to tele I am not sure if the feedback that I am receiving is accurate or not.
So does anyone know if the 8800's are in fact stiffer than the Karma?
the lbf/inspired/big is the same ski as the 8800 just earlier years.Originally Posted by marshalolson
Than looking at marshal's chart it would appear that the 8800 would be softer than the Karma since the Karma is described as a stiffer twin.
I have skied both the Karma and the 8800 alpine, and the karma is a touch stiffer. If I'm not mistaken, the general consensus is that the karma is stiffer than the 8800.
They more than likely feel stiffer becuase you are skiing them tele.
Thanks that helps alot.
Havn't skiied the Karma, but the V-pro vs the 8800 I'd say the V-pro is a little stiffer than the 8800 (like 1 out of ten on Marshall's scale thing). Not sure if the Karma kept the same stiffness or got a little softer than the V-pro however.
