Date: March 24th 07
Place: Whitewater B.C.
Goal: Ski No Matter What
Participants: The Pyg, Butters & Gingers
Result: Some Beer, Some Squishy Skiing, Followed Some More Beer!
If it could have only been 3 degrees colder this month, it would have been an Epic one! But, alas it wasn't and I was determined I was gunna ski again before I left for Mexico April 1st. So I rounded up good ole Gingers (this one has little bit of soul) and Butters, who do just about anything to be involved in an adventure. The snow report said it was plus 3c and raining heavily, with mixed precip at the top of the Summit Chair (6500ft), but we pushed on.
The Road looked more like a river

We got to the parking lot which had no high ground and was pretty much just flowing water. This was as far as Gingers would come out until I brought him his ski boots.
We proceeded to the lodge, bought a jug of beer and began modifying our suits. Butters opting for the diaper look and Gingers for the skirt and vest look
After a jug of courage out we went. Found a very friendy and addaptive liftie to load us
Needless to say we didn't find too many others to play with
It was actually snowing at the top!....welllll kinda and the boyz were stoked for a Blast
There were so many people riding the lift (there is a snowboarder down there), we even dropped into Kick In The Head. From the bottom road to the lift we just went straight as there was so much water in the snow it acted like a suction cup. I could actually see and hear the water squishing out of the snow under my Big Stix 106s'.
Back to the top for another round we decided to straightline Motherload and head for more beers. Had to do a little walking before returning to more of these
Gingers had to ring his gloves out before we headed back to town to get ready for The Nelson Leafs home playoff game, where we consumed...you guessed it more Delicious Beer!
