FS: Santa Cruz 4X Large frame

Got a sweet 2005 S.C. Blur 4X frame including FSA headset for sale in bright red. In great shape with a couple minor cable rubs & minor, minor scratches. No dents. Not many rides. All links tight. Frame w/ headset: $650 firm.

Would be willing to include a practically brand new (maybe 8 rides) air 454 Pike in the deal for an extra $400. This makes also makes a great trail bike.

Here is what some folks say about the 4X:

They have beefier down tubes, top tubes and seat tubes. Head tubes were slacker than their less abuse-destined showroom floor brethren (69 degrees with a 4.5 inch travel fork), and gusseted up to handle the loads of six-inch travel forks.They were sort of like what would happen if a Blur and a Heckler got all boozed up on Red Bull and Vodka and then locked themselves in the back of a 73 Chevy Van with shag carpet and bubble windows for a few hours

I am 5' 10" will this be too large for me?

it would be close but probably to big. Depends on your reach. Check out S.C.'s web site for details about how they size thier frames.

Don't know how I missed this. Someone buy this bike if isn't sold. If this fits you, it is a GREAT bike.
