    Good demo shop in SLC/LCC?

I had a little mishap today and broke my bindings. It's ok, they were cheap, and along with my skis, I just bought them to hold me over until I had time to look at some real gear. So this is my excuse to splurge a little on new gear...

Anyone know of a good demo shop in Salt Lake or Snowbird/Alta that can help me pick out some good skis? Know of any good sales going on? I'm not an expert skier yet (I am a Texan after all...), but if you know of a shop that knows their gear and can make some good recommendations without having to spend weeks on demos, it would be much appreciated.

I'm leaning towards just renting demos at Alta's ski shop since you can change them out on the mountain, but if you have any feedback, let me know. I keep seeing that some of next year's gear is starting to come out, so if there's anything that looks hot, post it.

at alta various demo locations have different makes of skis. They all know their crap. So if you want to look at many different brands use different shops for different days. We checked out Alta sports for their k2's. They were great and hassle free. that's all i can speak to.

DITTO! Alta ROCKS! The Alta Sports Ski Shop has a deep quiver of demo skis. The Deep Powder House shops at Alta have a decent offering as well. Christy's & Cliff Sports at Snowbird arent too bad either. They definitely got ya covered!
