    Mounting Naxo 21's

Am I correct in assuming that if I mount Naxo 21's on a ski that currently have Salomon 912's, that the new Naxo holes will not interfere or be too close to the Salomon holes on the ski? It looks like the Naxo holes are more forward for the toe piece and more rearward for the heel piece than the salomon bindings. I want to mount these so the boot line is still on the ski line as they are mounted now. I am sure I will get my answer when I pick up the Naxo's but was too curious to wait.

Totally depends on the size of the NAxos and where and what bootsole length the Salomons were mounted for. No way to tell until you either get the bindings or match up a template to check.

Yeah I guess that would make sense. I will just have to wait until I have the Naxo's in hand. Thanks.

Edit. I guess I should have said that the Naxo's are going to be mounted for the same boot as the salomons currently are. So in that case it looks like the holes for the Naxo's are more spread out, yes?

Lining up my Naxo and Solly jigs (I also have Diamir, Dynafit, Marker, and Look/Rossi jigs if anyone in the area is in need), the answer . . . depends on your boot sole length and binding size. But the toes will definitely be okay. You *might* have to play dodge-'em to keep the two back heel holes from the old Solly mount interfering with the two front heel holes from the new Naxo mount.

Thanks. They are 324 boot sole and medium Naxo by the way.

naxo.ch has a paper template online you can print out to check it right now (also the same template that comes with the bindings new)

Hard to tell for sure (lining up two jigs is awkward), but looks like you might have to move the Naxo mount back by a few mm (i.e., no big deal).
