    Buoy? 16 ft @ 11 sec...

    Winds? Northeast 20-30 mph
Precip? Sleet, freezing rain to wind driven rain
    Water temperature? 38
    Air temperature? 30.
New England winter surf with just you and your buddy out at a well known spot for over 2 hours? Priceless.

Just scored head high to overhead-and-a-half, offshore, at an extremely popular beach near Portland. Where were all the other surfers? Skiing I guess...

    No complaints on my end...

Anyone else out in the east?

Pretty good conditions for me, didn't get to go till after 12. Had to go solo cause my friend only has a 3/2. The first duckdive in a while was quite a shock, i thought i lost my face.

I was just up the coast at my local break. Absolutely deserted. From where I was recovering outside the break, you couldn't see land due to the wonderful precip. It was a bit wild out there. At least you don't have a chance to think about how cold your face and neck are when you're being held down for a wave or two.
