How much ice do you guys think I will need to chill this damn keg for tonights party? How long do you think it will take it to chill if I throw it inside a huge rubbermaid container and surround it with ice? gotta make sure that sucker is properly chilled.

Shmoesmith is a keg jong

put a layer of ice at the bottom of the container your are putting the keg in, about 4-6" high.

Place keg in container

Surround with Ice

Fill about 1/3 way with water, add mor ice.

Put 2 bag on top unopened

Whatever you do....SALT the ice water mixture. I saw this on mythbusters- the salted ice/water lowers the temp of the beer and cools it faster.
